Christ is Risen In Us

by Cecil Billingsley & Jeff Joslin

John 5:29 & Mark 16:6

He came to save us, from the death that we forged, in sin.
He came to show us, that cold dark tomb could not, hold Him.
The question is not, what would He do but what, He did.

Why is it so hard, for us to help the way, He did?
For us to give the way, He did?
For us to love the way, love the way, He did?

When I reach out, to help with a need,
Christ is risen, is risen in me.
If someone is blind, and I can help them to see,
Christ is risen in me! Christ is risen in me.

When you love your neighbor, like you do your own,
Christ is risen, is risen in you.
A little time and love can bring a lost child home,
Christ is risen in you! Christ is risen in you!

And when I look into your eyes, and in your eyes it’s Him I see,
Christ is risen in you! And Christ is risen in me!

And when we work together, to plant a seed,
Christ is risen, in you and me.

When we feed the hungry, and they believe,
Christ is risen in you and me! Christ is risen in you and me!

Help the least, you know we must, because in Him we place our trust.
Christ is risen in us! Christ is risen in us!

Christ is risen! He is risen! Christ is risen indeed!
Christ is risen in you and me! Christ is risen in us.
